Terms of service
Last Updated: September 2026
These Terms of Service govern services provided by Already There (“Already There,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By submitting a request, booking a service, completing an intake form, making payment, or otherwise engaging Already There, you agree to these Terms.
1. Services
Already There provides home preparation, grocery shopping, stocking, arrival setup, concierge support, limited house checks, and related services in the Lake Oconee and Lake Sinclair area.
Services are provided based on availability and the specific package, add-ons, and requests confirmed for each booking.
Unless specifically agreed in writing, Already There does not provide property management, home inspection, security monitoring, emergency response, licensed repair, medical, childcare, transportation, or other regulated professional services.
2. Booking and Confirmation
Submitting an inquiry or intake form does not guarantee availability or confirm a booking.
A booking is considered confirmed only after:
- Already There has accepted the requested service date and scope;
- all required information has been provided; and
- required payment has been received.
Arrival-service requests should generally be submitted at least 72 hours before the requested service time.
Requests made within 72 hours may be accepted at our discretion and may be subject to additional rush or coordination fees.
3. Package Pricing
Current package pricing is displayed on the Already There website.
Package fees cover the level of arrival preparation, stocking, coordination, and concierge support included in the selected service.
Groceries, merchandise, third-party charges, specialty purchases, delivery charges, and other items purchased on the client's behalf are separate from package pricing unless expressly stated otherwise.
4. Grocery Costs and Logistics Fees
When Already There shops for groceries or other requested items on your behalf, you are responsible for:
Package fee + actual cost of purchased items + applicable logistics fee + approved add-ons or additional charges.
Current grocery logistics fees are:
- Essentials: 15%
- Signature: 12%
- Premium: 10%
The logistics fee compensates Already There for shopping coordination, store time, substitutions, checkout, transportation, communication, and receipt reconciliation.
5. Minimum Grocery Order
Grocery shopping performed by Already There requires a minimum grocery purchase of $75 before taxes, service fees, logistics fees, or other charges.
The $75 minimum refers to the grocery purchase itself and is not a $75 logistics fee.
6. Grocery Estimates and Final Charges
When Already There purchases groceries on your behalf, an estimated grocery total may be provided or approved before shopping.
Retail pricing, taxes, product availability, substitutions, quantities, and other factors may cause the final amount to differ from the estimate.
Any difference between an estimated grocery amount and the actual final receipt may be charged or refunded after reconciliation.
By approving a grocery estimate, you authorize Already There to purchase the approved items and make reasonable adjustments consistent with these Terms.
7. Payment
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, required service fees and estimated grocery charges must be paid at least 48 hours before shopping or service begins.
Already There is not required to begin shopping, travel to the property, reserve service time, or purchase items before required payment is received.
We do not routinely advance grocery or merchandise costs on behalf of clients.
Your booking may be released or cancelled if required payment is not received by the stated deadline.
8. Grocery Lists and Planning
Depending on the selected package, clients may:
- provide their own grocery list;
- receive assistance refining an existing list;
- request that Already There build a suggested grocery list;
- place and pay for a retailer pickup order; or
- arrange a third-party delivery.
When Already There prepares or refines a grocery list, the client will have an opportunity to review and approve the list before shopping.
Already There does not guarantee that every requested item will be available.
9. Substitutions and Out-of-Stock Items
Clients may provide substitution preferences during intake.
Unless a client specifically requests approval before every substitution, Already There may make reasonable substitutions based on:
- availability;
- price;
- quantity;
- brand;
- stated dietary preferences;
- allergies disclosed by the client; and
- the overall intent of the approved grocery list.
Already There may make reasonable price adjustments within approximately 10% of the approved grocery estimate without additional authorization.
If a client selects “contact me before substituting,” Already There will make reasonable efforts to obtain approval, but unavailable or delayed responses may result in items being skipped to avoid delaying service.
10. Dietary Restrictions and Allergies
Clients are responsible for clearly disclosing all known food allergies, dietary restrictions, intolerances, and ingredient concerns before shopping.
Already There will make reasonable efforts to follow disclosed requirements but does not manufacture, prepare, label, or control the ingredients of third-party products.
Clients remain responsible for reviewing product labels and determining whether purchased products are appropriate for their household.
11. Client-Placed Pickup Orders
Clients may place and pay for grocery pickup orders directly through participating retailers.
When the client purchases groceries directly, percentage-based grocery logistics fees do not apply to the grocery purchase itself unless otherwise stated.
Pickup, transportation, stocking, package, or coordination fees may still apply.
The client is responsible for ensuring the order:
- is fully paid;
- is confirmed;
- is placed under the correct name;
- is scheduled during the agreed service window; and
- contains accurate pickup instructions.
Already There is not responsible for retailer cancellations, missing items, substitutions, delayed preparation, or other retailer errors.
12. Third-Party Grocery Deliveries
Already There may receive and stock third-party grocery deliveries when arranged in advance and accepted as part of the booking.
Third-party delivery timing is outside our control.
Already There is not responsible for:
- delayed or missed deliveries;
- driver errors;
- inaccurate substitutions;
- retailer inventory issues;
- driver inability to access the property; or
- merchandise damaged before Already There receives it.
Additional coordination fees may apply.
13. Specialty Items and Multiple Stores
Requests involving unusually large orders, multiple retailers, specialty stores, hard-to-source items, extended travel, special-event sourcing, or services outside the normal scope may require additional fees.
Already There will make reasonable efforts to communicate material additional charges before they are incurred.
14. Property Access Authorization
By booking services that require entry into a property, you authorize Already There and its authorized personnel to enter the designated property during the agreed service window for the purpose of completing requested services.
You are responsible for providing accurate and timely:
- gate codes;
- lockbox codes;
- smart-lock instructions;
- keys;
- alarm instructions;
- parking information;
- community access permissions; and
- property-manager or host authorization when applicable.
You represent that you have authority to grant Already There access to the property.
15. Access Problems
Already There is not responsible for service delays or inability to complete service caused by inaccurate, incomplete, expired, or unavailable access information.
Additional waiting, return-trip, travel, or coordination fees may apply if access cannot be obtained as scheduled.
Failure to provide access does not automatically entitle the client to a refund.
16. Property Condition
Already There will exercise reasonable care while working in the property.
We are not responsible for pre-existing damage, defects, unsafe conditions, pest issues, appliance failures, plumbing problems, electrical problems, HVAC issues, security-system malfunctions, leaks, or other property conditions not caused by Already There.
Clients should notify us of fragile items, unusual property conditions, pets, alarms, or areas that should not be accessed.
17. Refrigerated and Frozen Items
Already There will make reasonable efforts to promptly place refrigerated and frozen groceries into available appliances.
Once perishables have been placed into functioning client-provided refrigeration or freezer equipment, Already There is not responsible for subsequent spoilage caused by:
- appliance failure;
- power outages;
- electrical issues;
- delayed client arrival;
- thermostat settings;
- property conditions; or
- other circumstances outside our control.
18. Retailer and Product Issues
Already There purchases products from independent third-party retailers and manufacturers.
We are not responsible for:
- manufacturer defects;
- recalls;
- mislabeled products;
- retailer inventory inaccuracies;
- spoiled or damaged products provided by a retailer;
- pricing errors;
- third-party fulfillment mistakes; or
- product performance.
We will make reasonable efforts to assist with retailer issues when practical.
19. House Checks and Home Oversight
If Already There performs a house check or similar service, the service is limited to the agreed visual observations and tasks.
A house check is not a professional inspection, security service, property-management service, maintenance service, or guarantee that all problems will be discovered.
Already There is not responsible for concealed, developing, intermittent, or otherwise non-obvious property issues that are not reasonably visible during the scheduled service.
20. Client Communication
Clients should remain reasonably reachable during the service window when decisions or approvals may be necessary.
If the client cannot be reached, Already There may use reasonable judgment to complete the service consistent with approved instructions and substitution preferences.
21. Cancellations and Rescheduling
Unless a different policy is stated at booking:
More than 48 hours before scheduled service:
Service fees may be refunded or transferred to a new service date, less nonrefundable costs already incurred.
24–48 hours before scheduled service:
Up to 50% of the service fee may be retained.
Less than 24 hours before scheduled service:
The service fee may be nonrefundable.
Any groceries, merchandise, special-order items, retailer fees, or other costs already purchased or incurred on the client's behalf remain the client's responsibility regardless of cancellation timing.
Rescheduling is subject to availability.
22. Refunds
Refund eligibility is determined based on the circumstances of the booking, services already performed, purchases already made, and costs incurred.
Completed services are generally nonrefundable.
Concerns about a completed service should be reported as soon as reasonably possible so Already There has an opportunity to address them.
23. Delays and Events Outside Our Control
Already There is not responsible for delays or inability to perform caused by circumstances reasonably outside our control, including:
- severe weather;
- road closures;
- accidents;
- retailer closures;
- power outages;
- community access restrictions;
- government action;
- emergencies;
- natural disasters;
- technology outages; or
- other force-majeure events.
When possible, we will communicate delays and work with the client on an appropriate solution.
24. Alcohol and Age-Restricted Products
Already There may decline requests involving alcohol, tobacco, nicotine, controlled substances, prescription products, firearms, or other age-restricted or regulated products.
Any age-restricted purchases we do accept must comply with applicable law, retailer requirements, and identification rules.
Already There reserves the right to refuse any requested purchase that we believe would be unlawful, unsafe, or inconsistent with our policies.
25. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Already There is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use of our services.
To the extent permitted by law, Already There’s total liability relating to a particular booking will not exceed the amount of service fees actually paid to Already There for that booking, excluding reimbursed grocery or merchandise costs.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be limited or excluded.
26. Client Responsibility
Clients are responsible for providing accurate information, reviewing grocery lists and estimates, disclosing allergies or material property conditions, providing lawful property access, complying with community rules, and promptly communicating changes that could affect service.
27. Right to Refuse or Discontinue Service
Already There reserves the right to decline, cancel, or discontinue a service when necessary for safety, legality, property access, nonpayment, harassment, unreasonable requests, material misrepresentation, or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Any applicable refunds will be determined based on services performed and costs already incurred.
28. Changes to Services or Terms
Already There may update service offerings, pricing, fees, policies, or these Terms from time to time.
The Terms applicable to a confirmed booking will generally be those in effect when the booking is accepted unless the parties agree otherwise.
29. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Any dispute will be handled in the appropriate court with jurisdiction in Georgia unless otherwise required by law.
30. Acceptance of Terms
By submitting a booking request, completing an intake form, making payment, or authorizing Already There to perform services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms of Service.
A booking is not confirmed until accepted by Already There and required payment has been received.
